A Collaboration of Independent, Women-Led Financial Planning Firms

Equita’s mission is to help our Member Firms succeed in providing outstanding service to their clients, to support the increasing number of women-led financial planning firms, and to attract more women to the field of financial planning.

We do this by providing a business platform of the very best resources in our industry for each Member Firm so they can focus on the core of their business; serving their clients. We provide our Member Firms with a network of financial planning firms with which to collaborate, share best practices and resources, and identify succession planning options. We also work closely with key resources in our industry to encourage and promote women to pursue the Certified Financial Planner designation, and sponsor one annual Scholarship for a new Member Firm to receive the CFP(r) designation if they have not yet earned it.
