A Community Platform For Women-Led Financial Advisory Firms

Women reviewing documents through a financial advisor support platform

At EquitaFN, we believe that when women financial advisors support each other, everyone wins.

Our members are CFP® professionals who share freely, collaborate often, and show up for one another. There’s no competition here.

What makes Equita different is that the community and the platform work together. We help you handle the backend, like: compliance, technology, investment management, and operations; so you can stay focused on what you do best: serving your clients and growing your firm.

Katie Burke, CFP®, Co-Founder of Equita Financial Network

Katie Burke, CFP®

Co-Founder, Equita Financial Network | Founder, Method Financial Planning

Driven by a passion for helping others build meaningful and sustainable financial lives, Katie founded Method Financial Planning in 2015, a fee-only firm focused on guiding busy professionals through life’s major financial decisions with clarity and confidence.

An advocate for women in finance, Katie is passionate about creating community and opportunity for women in the profession. During her time in San Diego, she co-founded San Diego Women in Finance, a community created to foster mentorship, collaboration, and career growth. She has also mentored aspiring CFP® professionals through the NAPFA Women’s Initiative and the CFP Board, helping to pave the way for more women to build rewarding careers in financial planning. Katie served four years on the NAPFA Regional Board, where she helped strengthen member engagement and advance organizational goals.

As a wife, mother, and business owner, Katie understands firsthand the challenges of integrating career ambitions with family life. In 2018, that commitment led her to co-found Equita Financial Network.

Bridget Venus Grimes, CFP®

Co-Founder, Equita Financial Network | Founder, WealthChoice

Bridget Venus Grimes has spent decades in finance and corporate America- personally experiencing the barriers women in business face. That experience became her fuel.

In 2016, she founded WealthChoice, a fee-only financial planning firm focused on helping women executives and their families live life on their terms. She also launched the WealthChoice Community, bringing together like-minded women for networking, education, and real support- a model that would become the heartbeat of EquitaFN.

A connector and collaborator by nature, Bridget was named one of AdvisorHub’s 2026 Women Advisors’ and the 2024 NAPFA Women to Know. She is available to speak on topics including the key challenges and derailers of women professionals and emergency continuity planning.

In 2018, she and Katie turned their shared vision into Equita Financial Network.

Our Female Focused Financial Planner + Financial Advisor Support Platform

Your Questions, Answered

Our Signature Platform Membership includes everything in the Community Membership plus a complete turnkey business infrastructure: technology, compliance support, E&O and cyber insurance, financial planning software, investment management options, and custodial relationships with Charles Schwab and TIAA. It’s the only financial advisor support platform with everything you need to run an independent financial planning firm- all under one roof.

Our Community Membership gives you access to EquitaFN’s online platform, our educational webinar series Inspiring Insights, weekly virtual meetings, and mastermind groups- the full power of the network, collaboration, and peer support.

Members connect regularly through weekly virtual meetings, mastermind groups, and additional network events throughout the year. EquitaFN also hosts in-person national peer gatherings and an ongoing educational webinar series. The community is active, engaged, and built for real networking and relationship-building.

Traditional networking events are typically event-based- you show up, meet people, and go back to running your business alone. EquitaFN is different because the community and the platform are integrated. You get both peer support and the operational infrastructure to run your firm. Members share best practices, collaborate on client solutions, and show up for each other in real time- all within a high-caliber community of CFP® professionals who understand exactly what you’re building.

Most firms fail because of a lack of resources, operational bottlenecks, and a lack of infrastructure.
